The Medical Service Technician services various types of medical equipment in efficient, accurate manner..

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Repair and perform preventive maintenance on various types of medical equipmentPerform functional testing on various types of medical equipmentRe-certify medical equipment to Accreditation Body standardsPrepare written documentation that serviced equipment meets Accreditation Body standards.Clean/disinfect serviced medical equipmentPackage serviced medical equipment for shipping and place tag on equipment showing it is ready for patient useEnter service orders into computerPerform other tasks as assigned or necessaryQualificationsElectronic technician degree or prior experience as medical repair technicianLift equipment from floor to work bench weighing up to 50 lbs.

on a frequent basisAbility to lift beds weighing over 100 lbsWork in environment with fumes, odors, dust, gas and poor ventilationAbility to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (e.g.
