If so, we might have just the opportunity you’re looking for!Idaho National Laboratory’s (INL) Software Services group is seeking forward-thinking, professionals interested in exploring a technical career as an Enterprise Application Developer (EAP)!The EAP performs as a developer on the Application Services team using technologies including PLSQL, Oracle, Javascript, HTML, SQL, ASP.NET and C# in both Windows and Linux environments.

They will maintain interfaces between a variety of applications which include both Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) software as well as INL developed.

The EAP designs, codes, tests, corrects and documents large and /or complex programs and program modifications from supplied specifications using agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result.

They also provide input on the completion of complex application development and quality delivery.

Selecting and using tools and methods to establish, clarify, communicate the user experience, users’ characteristics, tasks, and identifies the technical, organizational and physical environment in which complex products or systems will operate.

The EAP develops, maintains specialist knowledge of database concepts, object and data modeling techniques, design principles, and a detailed knowledge of database architectures and software.

They will perform database and web/middleware tasks independently from supplied specifications using agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result, utilizing REST and WebAPI.

Experience with Enterprise Integrator (formerly known as WSO2), and with identifying processes for automation are desired.

This role translates logical designs into physical designs, produces detailed design documentation, takes part in reviews of work, and collaborates on the design structures and tools for systems which meet business needs.

.Minimum Requirements:Level 2 Bachelors degree in a relevant field and 2 years experience, OR 10 years’ experience/education in lieu of a bachelors’ degree.Level 3 Bachelors degree in a relevant field plus demonstrated ability OR 13 years experience in lieu of a bachelors’ degree.Must be a US Citizen.Experience developing in Java, Javascript, HTML, and PLSQL, .Net, C#.Experience using SQL and ORACLE databases in application development.Solid understanding of database concepts and design principles.Ability to be a solid teammate and effectively organize and lead tasks.Ability to connect with both business and technical audience.Preferred Requirements:Experience with other development languages.Experience identifying processes for automation.Job InformationSalary Grade: 190Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and the selected candidate will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skillsINL Overview:INL is a science-based, applied engineering national laboratory dedicated to supporting the U.S.
