– one that promotes honesty, mutual respect, personal growth and career advancement for all.n n Job Descriptionn n Position Summary:n n Welcome and register guests, present statements, check credit and collect payment for departing guests.n n Service Standardsn n Eye contact should be made at a distance of no less than 10 feet from every guest.nA genuine smile should be offered at a distance of no less than 5 feet from every guest.nEmployees should build rapport with guests during any conversation, if the guest responds to the initial statement with a conversational demeanor.nGuest last name is used effectively, but discreetly, as a signal of recognition as least once and not more than twice during any conversation with guests.nBefore concluding conversations, the guest is verbally offered additional assistance with a statement relevant to the guest’s individual needs.n n Essential Functions Of The Jobn n Display at all times a friendly, courteous and professional manner in all dealings with guests and employees.nMust have good rapport with accounting and other personnel.nWelcome and register hotel guests.nCheck guests out of hotel in accordance with procedures.nWork closely with the guest services agents to coordinate the smooth and efficient handling of guest luggage on both check in and check out.nClear all “hold status’ room discrepancies.nClear all “non-Z00” balances.nMaintain and update the Hotels’ Guest History.nCoordinate with other departments’ daily needs or special requirements for all hotel guests.nRecord any guest complaints or problems and notify the appropriate individuals.nSelect and block rooms for arriving guests, book same day reservations, pre-register guests as required, escort guests to their rooms and notify Managers of arrivals per request.nBe familiar with room and rate availability for current and future dates.nAccept reservations, changes and cancellations in accordance with procedures in the absence of reservation personnel.nBe able to work PBX console.nProvide Concierge services as needed and have knowledge of guest related concierge duties.nDo daily key count and request keys as par suggests.nDistribute hotel keys as necessary.nBe knowledgeable about all group and catering events and locations in the hotel.nUnderstand the Hotel Management System as it relates to with check in and check out procedures.nRun daily reports as necessary.nMake change, post charges, reconcile daily work and make deposits in accordance with established procedures.nResponsible for maintaining cash bank and for daily settling of cash bank.n n Additional Dutiesn n Make Manager aware of guest’s comments and complaints.nReport to work in a neatly groomed and acceptable manner as outlined in the employee handbook.nReport to shift on time.nComply with all policies and procedures for the Front Office Department, Limelight Lodge, and Aspen Skiing Company.nIs familiar with hotel fire and safety procedures.

Assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by management.nComplete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business volumes and staff levels demand.n n Qualificationsn n Education, Experience, Skillsn n College degree preferred.nPrevious front desk experience helpfulnExcellent written and spoken English.n nAdditional Informationn n Physical Requirements Of The Position Includen n Must be able to stand entire shift.nDealing with noise of lobby area as well as phones..
