Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees, members, or clients.Computer/Office Equipment SkillsIntermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, PowerPoint and pertinent software skill required to perform duties.Other Skills and AbilitiesAbility and desire to make solicitation calls in person and on the phone. Ability to analyze financial statements and determine cash flow, liquidity, debt-to-worth, trends, etc. Must be self motivated, self managed, have strong organizational skills, pay close attention to detail, and follow through appropriately.Have a thorough understanding of Member Business Lending, understands NCUA guidelines, CU guidelines and SBA SOP for all types of loans. Loan officer knowledge would include knowing all needed signatures for all documents and gathering of: all tax returns, interim financials, personal financials, information on collateral, and all necessary SBA forms. Loan closing understanding would be all UCC filings, RE filings, lien position and collateral issues. Able to minimize Credit Union risk and maximize borrowing potential. Good presentation skills to Credit Committee a must. Underwriting skills would include ability to write an analysis on Repay ability and Cash Flow, Trends, Liquidity, Leverage, Collateral, Management, Credit, Accounting Skills, and complete RAM service oriented.PHYSICAL ABILITIES AND WORKING CONDITIONSPhysical DemandsRequires Frequent Standing, Walking, Sitting, Using hands to handle or feel, Reaching with hands and arms, Talks and hears.
