Business Development Representative I, II or III

Alliance Title & Escrow Corp.

This is a Full-time position in Idaho Falls, ID posted February 1, 2021.

Business Development Representative I: Under direct supervision and mentoring, responsible for growing and maintaining market share by selling title & escrow services to customers within assigned geographic territory and/or customer list. Represents the Company to the customer and the customer to the Company in all business development activities. Concentrated efforts will be spent on customer contacts, focusing on solutions and new business opportunities. This will be accomplished by establishing a professional working relationship with the customer, and developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the customer.

Or

Business Development Representative II: Under limited supervision and mentoring, responsible for growing and maintaining market share by selling title & escrow services to customers within assigned geographic territory and/or customer list. Represents the Company to the customer and the customer to the Company in all business development activities. Concentrated efforts will be spent on customer contacts, focusing on solutions and new business opportunities. This will be accomplished by establishing a professional working relationship with the customer, and developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the customer.

Or

Business Development Representative III: Subject matter expert. Works independently and is responsible for growing and maintaining market share by selling title & escrow services to customers within assigned geographic territory and/or customer list. Represents the Company to the customer and the customer to the Company in all business development activities. Concentrated efforts will be spent on customer contacts, focusing on solutions and new business opportunities. This will be accomplished by establishing a professional working relationship with the customer, and developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the customer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Business Development Representative I:

1. Learns to apply professional ATEC sales concepts, theories and principles to daily business development activities.

2. Develops and maintains customer base, and meets targeted current and prospective goals.

3. Follows standard business development practices and procedures, including, but not limited to, scheduling appointments over the telephone and in person, working a referral network, attending required networking events, and conducting sales presentations.

4. Provides accurate and timely reporting of required business development activities and results. Updates and maintains CPM system with customer information, activities and interactions.

5. Attends networking events, and meets targeted networking event goals.

6. Proactively asks for referrals, and meets targeted referral goals.

7. Involved in community and business-related activities and functions.

8. Works with business development team on promotional strategies, product and service development, marketing intelligence, planning and budgeting.

9. Works as a team member by providing constant updates to key internal team members and external customers.

10. Professionally represents the Company.

11. Consistently works as part of a team (locally and/or remotely) and must have the ability to interact with others in a professional and respective manner.

12. Physical presence in the work location – branch or department.

13. Support and alignment with Company Core Values; service, integrity, teamwork, trust & respect, accountability and profitability.

14. May serve as backup to other areas of the Company, i.e., deliveries and phones.

15. Requires 5% travel outside commutable area.

16. Participation in sales team meetings required.

Or

Business Development Representative II:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Business Development Representative I:

Education:

Marketing or communication degree preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of one to three years sales/business development experience, knowledge, background and contacts in the sales and marketing field. Proven lead generation, goal and target setting, along with cold calling experience.

Skills:

Ability to sell, in person and over the phone. Professional written, verbal and listening skills, as well as professional appearance and demeanor. Public speaking and ability to present training material required; typing skills of 40 wpm, basic computer skills, prefer Powerpoint and Excel, stress management and organizational skills. Requires reliable, depending transportation, along with valid driver’s license and current insurance. Eligibility for coverage under Company’s group car insurance required at all times. Ability to interact with others.

Other:

Ability to build rapport quickly and easily. Must have the ability and willingness to learn. Understanding and commitment to total quality, unsurpassed customer service and teamwork.

Or

Business Development Representative II:

Education:
