This is a Contract position in Idaho Falls, ID posted February 18, 2021.
FUNCTION: Drive water truck to transport water for construction projects / sprinkling attachment to spray water on roadways in order to control dust.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
- Visualizes and implements the Clyde Companies, Inc. vision and core values
- Drive and operate water truck.
- Assume responsibility for proper operation and maintenance of company vehicle.
- Perform pre and post safety checklists on truck.
- Observe and obey all traffic laws in the operation of assigned company vehicle.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Understanding of equipment controls and electronics
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED
- Class B CDL with Tanker endorsement.
- Clean driving record. Experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and cold, exposure to dust.
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs
