Project Manager


This is a Full-time position in Boise, ID posted July 6, 2021.

This is a contract role and the client prefers local candidates, or the Pacific Northwest.

The Enterprise PM resource will be focused on enterprise projects, such as:
Compliance projectsBCBSA projectsWill be working closely with business leaders within the Healthcare Economics/Operations area, IT teams to deliver on the requirements of the legislation, government rules or BCBA mandates.
In this role you will partner with your project team and Program Manager to develop project artifacts for large cross-functional projects.

You will develop and manage project work schedules, scope, budget, risks, issues, dependencies and constraints.

The role specifically is to project manage the implementation of vendor solutions into our environment.
As the project manager in this role you will manage core team task assignments and their tracking and delivery.

You will use critical thinking skills to anticipate and mitigate roadblocks to delivery.

You must proactively work with Program Manager, Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, & Business leaders to chart project scope and outcomes that contribute to the overall success of the project.

In this role you will apply our project framework, processes, and standards.
Job DescriptionManage projects in accordance with Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) methodologies.Demonstrated, positive experience partnering with senior leadership in a project manager capacity.Participate in cross-functional groups to solve problems across projects.Utilize a network of relationships to collect and disseminate information, build support, and secure buy-in for desired outcomes.Effectively lead staff/teams with a passion for customer satisfaction.Work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple and constantly changing requirements.Define and communicate project scope, goals, deliverables and success metrics that support business needs in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders in a clear and measurable manner..Identify, track and manage project dependencies, critical path, schedule, milestones, and deliverablesIdentify project risks and problem areas and facilitate resolution or mitigation plans.Align projects with corporate strategy, business requirements, IT capabilities, and HR requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor Degree with preference in Healthcare, Engineering, Process Design, Performance Technology, Information Technology/Computer Science, and/or Business AdministrationPMI/PMP certificationExperience in Healthcare and/or Health Insurance industriesExperience with agile development teams and processesSoftware/system implementation
– experience with complex highly customizable softwareSupplier/vendor services implementation
– how to run merged project meetings and project plans across two companiesData management
– an understanding of the processes and types of work that come with managing big data
– how data is transferred, how data is merged, quality control, and ensuring that our data processes are aligning with current industry best practicesExperience with implementing third parties processes
