Social Content Marketing Manager


This is a Full-time position in Aberdeen, ID posted February 6, 2021.

nnAs a Group Content Marketer, the Social Content Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, managing and monitoring the Wood social channels in addition to ongoing content campaign delivery .

Aiming at a 60/40 mix between social content and content marketing campaigns.

Working in unison with the VP of Content Marketing, they are responsible for developing and executing the social media strategies, as part of the overall digital Marcomms strategy and on a channel by channel basis.

Working with the wider Marcomms team and specifically Creative Services, and leading the social media Community of Practice, they will ensure best practices implemented and followed, content is planned and in line with business objectives, is brand compliant, targeted and delivered within the right governanceAs our social media presence, particularly on LinkedIn, is key to successful talent attraction, the Social Content Marketing Manager will work as a key business partner with our Global Resourcing leadership team.  Operating as the global programme manager for our LinkedIn contract, they will be the key focal point for LinkedIn, managing the relationship, platform and resourcing marketing budget.

They will also support the resourcing team in media campaigns for any significant recruitment needs and the content for the careers website and Life@Wood development.They are also responsible for collating and reporting on analytics, as well as researching latest trends and technologies in their related fields and proposing, adopting and implementing with support from the Digital Manager.nn nnSkills / Qualificationsnn nnQualificationsA Bachelor / Academic degree (Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Business or related) is preferredKnowledge, skills and experienceDedicated content development and marketing communications experience in an international B2B environment with demonstrated understanding of thought leadership.

Professional services and experience in key industry sectors such as oil & gas, energy, property, infrastructure, water, and environment is an advantageSignificant experience in a management or similar role, including good experience in content creationProven thought leadership creation experience; track record of delivering strong content using a multi-channel strategy including but not limited to management of print, online, apps, email, media, social media, webinars, blogs, events, speaking engagements, etc.Knowledge or market and industry issues and trendsAdvanced research, data gathering and analysis skillsAdvance negotiating, persuasion and professional presentation skillsExperience with content management systemExperience with marketing automation softwareExperience with Company Analytics, AdWords, social media channels; knowledge of digital marketing channels, best practices and trendsDemonstratable experience in campaign delivery and measurementMedia relations management experience is a plusnn nn nn
