Territory Sales Manager is responsible for on-going personal sales of new and existing clients along with providing leadership presence over a team of localized relationship managers. Mission to assist entrepreneurial business owners in finding more time and money while helping their business become more protected, productive, and profitable!
Compensation- Weekly Commissions/Lifetime Residuals/Equity- Ownership
This is a full W2, benefits position working primarily from a home office with a majority of time spent in the field. Territory Managers first year average earnings of $60,000 – $85,000+ in the form of uncapped personal commissions plus overrides* on all assigned relationship managers (*variable range vary based on size and performance of team). Top performers are in the $100,000+ range plus overrides. Each year the earnings compound as your portfolio grows (NO CAP). Compensation includes weekly bonuses for all new accounts signed; lifetime residuals paid monthly, and equity of portfolio value becoming vested.
Responsibilities:
– Hunter: Prospect and close new merchant accounts consistently.
– Grow a business development network of affiliate partners and referring clients
– Build a book of business enrolling SMB/Mid Market merchants into Heartlands feature rich product suite of business solutions in Payment Technologies, POS, Payroll/HR, Capital Lending, & Customer Engagement tools
– Learn, understand, and be able to effectively add value through a consultative approach around all hardware, software and product suite solutions offered by Heartland.
– Developing and mentoring sales reps to support and achieve performance goals
– Conduct reliable field training for Territories Sales Reps within their first 90 days of employment or as otherwise needed
– Provide consistent personal execution of companies playbook along with coaching other sales reps to same expertise and knowledge proficiencies
– Assist company leadership with the recruitment process
Experience Qualifications – A minimum of 2 to 4 years outside sales experience. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success in B2B verticals and/or successful entrepreneurial background.

Travel -The Territory Sales Manager is expected to be out in the field training, and leading Territory SalesReps in sales transactions in addition to prospecting and closing their own new merchant accounts on an on-going basis. Ability to prospect and enroll business throughout entire US however no out of territory travel is required.
